Time Away from Work
GrafTech recognizes the importance of time away from work. As a full-time GrafTech employee, you earn vacation time according to your length of employment.

RESOURCES
In addition to your earned vacation time, you can elect to purchase additional vacation time if approved by management. This program is restricted to GrafTech International Holdings Inc., including its affiliates and subsidiaries (collectively the “Company”), and its US employees eligible for a limited amount of annual vacation based on site specifics.
- The cost of each vacation hour is the employee’s hourly rate of pay
- A maximum of 40 hours of vacation time can be purchased
- Purchased vacation hours are pre-taxed payroll deductions taken equally from an employee’s payroll checks throughout the year
- An employee’s annual vacation allowance must be used before Purchased Vacation hours are used
